What Is Our Brain Protecting — And What Does That Reveal?
In Kieran’s video, you saw a glimpse of how I fixed his scary levels of long-lasting back pain.
We didn’t begin knowing that a release around T11 would be the answer.
His body gradually revealed it.
That’s the part I find fascinating.
I searched for where his brain was protecting.
And it was the releases around T11 made all the difference.
Kieran’s movement improved.
His pain has gone.
We hadn’t guessed the answer.
For many years, I assumed the most important question was,
“Where is the pain coming from?”
Now I think there is another question that can reveal much more.
“What is our brain protecting?”
Kieran’s pain was in his lower back.
But the area that produced the biggest change was around T11.
We could not have known that beforehand.
It only became clear because of what changed when we addressed it.
That is how the process works.
When an area matters, our body shows us.
Movement changes.
Protection reduces.
Pain may change as well.
When an area does not matter, very little happens.
So we keep searching.
The body gradually narrows the search until the areas that matter begin to stand apart from those that do not.
Perhaps this is the simplest way I can explain the difference.
A diagnosis tells us what has been identified.
It does not necessarily reveal what our brain is protecting.
That has to be discovered through what changes.
Sometimes the diagnosis and the protected problem lead us to the same place.
Most of the time, they do not.
When they do not, it can completely change what needs to be addressed.
Could this help explain what is happening in your body?
